Wedding: Philip and Jeanne Swart

Most of what you’ll see on here will either be motoring or landscape.  That’s what I like to shoot and I’ll be first to say that’s the fields which will see better images delivered as well.  Every now and again I do get the odd request to shoot a wedding.  The last request, I declined and referred it to another young photographer showing a lot of potential.  This one though, I got asked for from a very early point (I think they had photography and videotography sorted before they had a wedding date).  The nice thing was that one of the uncles was behind the other lens as well.  So, yes, I agreed.

I think it’s fair to say that I stressed more than the couple-to-be-married.  Hell I don’t even think that I stressed that much on my own wedding day. A lot of research and advice later, especially from a well known photographer and the big day arrived.  I know I was a bit short on equipment as well, but that just meant more creativity was required.  I’m glad to say that earlier this week I delivered the photos to the newly-weds and they are very happy with the results.  Here’s a small selection of the photos from the day
