Langebaan - What a week

o, The whole world has been shouting “Viva Espanola” for the last week and the only Flying Dutchman you’ll see will be the one on your “Pirates of the Caribbean” DVDs. Instead of using my first week of leave to recover from a World Cup hangover and the sobering thought that there is all of a sudden nothing worth watching on TV anymore, I decided to spend the week in Langebaan. My mission – to cover every single piece of Langebaan beach not owned by Club Mykonos or the military by foot. Weather wise it was a great week, and even the rainy days made for some great conditions. Thursday has to be one of my favourite days in ages though. A great sunset walk and photos followed by a proper piece of steak on the fire while sipping away on a few KWVs, what a great end to a great week.
